Congratulations to the Republic of Tajikistan
On behalf of the Senate of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, I
would like to extend my warmest congratulations to the Republic of
th
Tajikistan on its 30 Independence Day. As one of the most important
consular locations in the world, Hamburg is proud that Tajikistan ope-
ned its first honorary consulate in the European Union in Hamburg on
September 30, 2013. Since then, the consulate has served as a bridge
between Tajikistan and Hamburg. It supports the exchange between
people, promotes mutual understanding and helps to build connec-
tions on an economic, cultural and civil society level. There is still a
lot of potential for intensifying cooperation with the young country.
I look forward to continued intensive contacts and wish the Republic
of Tajikistan all the best.
