General information

Tajikistan is situated in the middle of Central Asia. The territory of the
country consist of 142.6 square kilometers 93% the territory is
covered by mountains with and average altitude of more than
3000 meters above sea level . Its average time G.M.T. +5 hours.
To the west and north it borders with the Republic of Uzbekistan
and the Kirgiz Republic, on the east with the People's Republic of
China, in the south with Afghanistan. Of the total length of its
borders (3777 km) to the border accounts for 511 km with China,
with Afghanistan- 1344 km, with Uzbekistan 1363 km and with
Kirgizstan – 590 km. In the south east of Tajikistan from India and
Pakistan, the Afghan territory separates the band width of 15 to
65 kilometers. Tajikistan attracts hundreds of travelers from
around the world soul that you can immerse yourself in the
realm of natural purity and splendor . Mountains of the Pamirs
and Tangshan circling the head height, clear weather of
alpine lakes, the highest dam in the world, a carpet of millions of
irises , poppies and edelweiss blooming on the slopes of crystal
waterfalls and amazing wildlife, this is not a complete list of that
to be able to make a ring around totality of the tender string of the
soul of even the most hardened inhabitant of a large city.
