Language

The official language of the Republic Tajikistan is Tajik. Our GOOD TO KNOW
language was formed on the basis of farsi and some eastern
Iranian languages spoken in the 9-10 century in the territories
Movarounahr and Khuroson. Our language is one of the three
modern literature languages: Tajik (in Tajikistan) , Persian
( in Iran), Dari (in Afghanistan). It should be noticed that the
Tajiks had their own state Samani's Dynasty includes in the list
of the greatest dynastic in the world.

Currency and money turnover

National currency of of Tajikistan is Somoni , 1 somoni is 100
dirams (international designation TJS). Used banknotes : 1, 3, 5,
10, 20, 50, 100, 500 somoni, and 5, 10, 20, 25 and 50 diram.
Exchange money you can arrival at the airports or hotel.
Banking exchangers work in all branches of banks in the capital
and regions of the republic. The use of credit cards and travelers
check may in international hotels and malls, supermarkets,
banks and large administrative centers.

According to the legislation of the R.T. with the purchase of
goods and other monetary relationship necessary to use the
national currency of Tajikistan -somoni. In Tajikistan, not
customary to leave tip but if you want to do something nice,
you can leave the petty change. In shops supermarkets, malls
commodity prices are fixed, you can bargain in bazaars.
