Travel around the country WELCOME

During one trip to Tajikistan , you can visit various times of the
year ,see the subtropical and alpine tundra with permafrost ,
flowering fertile valleys and glaciers, alpine meadows and
scorching desert sun. See the beauty of the scenic
edge can implementing domestically jeep tour or taxi or by
scheduled (eg: Dushanbe – Khorog, Dushanbe – Panjakent, and
the country's largest motorway: Dushanbe- Termez, Dushanbe-
Kurghon –Tepa, Dushanbe-Kulob, Dushanbe –Khujand, Khorugh –
Osh). Now opened a new road Kulma-Karokum / One of the four
branches of the Silk Road, extending to ancient times through
Tajikistan. Rail links, because of mountainous terrain, is only
possible in a small north west region between the capital of
Tajikistan, Dushanbe and the second largest city of the republic-
Khujand. And so the most appropriate transport to travel by
private taxi, which will pass through many mountain passes and
take you to any city in the country without difficulty. Usually such
a taxi take several passengers making the trip cheaper. For
example ,the cost of travel from Dushanbe to Khujannd per
person will be about130 somoni (20$). If you are interested in
renting a car with a driver for a few days or hours you can
contact the tourists companies of the republic for more
information.
If you plan to spend time in the mountains, it is advisable to
purchase insurance in one of the insurance companies of the
country . Type of registration of insurance ,”Insurance of medical
and transport expenses” .Insurance agent must specify the host
country (Tajikistan), type of activity (hiking, mountain – sport
tourism, trekking, ecotourism, etc.)
